Prince William worried about Harry?

Prince William Is “Worried” About Harry–Find Out Why

Prince William has responded–in a very reserved, very British way, of course–to Prince Harry’s recent comments about their strained relationship.

Here’s the scoop from sources inside the palace.

“I Will Not Be Bullied”

A one-hour special on ITV about Harry and Meghan aired Sunday night in England (available on Wednesday for viewers Stateside) in which the Duke of Sussex dished about his relationship with William, their family, and the press.

Most tellingly, he stated, “I will not be bullied into playing a game that killed my mum.”

Allegedly, Harry didn’t extend the rest of his family the courtesy of viewing the doc beforehand–the latest in a pattern of independent moves by the 35-year-old Prince.

The “future king had been forced to sit at home and watch it on Sunday night along with the rest of the nation,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

Keep in mind that the Mail is one of the UK tabloids that Harry and Meghan are suing.

A Cause for Concern?

The special TV presentation consisted of candid interviews with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, including Harry’s confession that things haven’t been so rosy between him and his brother.

You can read more about those revelations here.

The same insider told the Mail that the immense pressures placed on the Windsor family is to blame for the alleged rift.

“It would be very difficult for anybody to watch that and not feel compassion for them. Whatever is going on is taking a personal toll on them. That, of course, would cause concern.”

More Leaks From Inside the Palace

While the Daily Mail is a suspect source at best, someone else from within the palace spoke to the BBC. (For American readers, that’s the difference between gossip on the front page of, say, Star versus a cover story on People.)

The source claimed William wasn’t just worried about his brother–he was furious, too.

In addition, another source tattled to the Evening Standard about how the other senior Royals have attempted to help the young couple–and also, perhaps, to keep the family drama under wraps.

“I know that the Prince of Wales has several times reached out to Meghan,” the source said. “They get on and share a love of music too. I know he invited her to a preview of an exhibition at the palace.”

The source also told the newspaper: “The Queen has been a source of strength too and invited them both to Balmoral where family problems are usually aired.”

Meghan’s Heartbreak

However, Meghan was even more open about her struggles with the international spotlight and the ruthless pursuit of the press. She claimed that she’s not really okay–and that so few people have even bothered to check in to see how she’s doing.

It would an example of the Duchess for her naivete–after all, nobody marries a prince and then expects to live a quiet life in the countryside. However, she believes that the pressure placed on her was far greater than it should have been.

“I never thought this would be easy but I thought it would be fair,” Meghan said.

Competing Documentary About Prince Andrew

Meanwhile, Channel 4 also aired a Royal documentary recently–this one detailing the alleged relationship between Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. However, the UK press has been very wary about covering the explosive allegations against the Prince.

It’s almost like the family drama between the Sussexes and Cambridges is just a smokescreen, isn’t it?
